Sasan Amir - Ambassador Transcontinenta GmbH
Portrait & Wildlife
Sasan Amir is a 27-year-old professional photographer based in Germany. His curiosity about photography started as a child and developed past into a strong passion, and lately he dedicated his life to that. Focussing on the one hand on portraits and fine arts and on the other hand on wildlife photography.
He owns his own content creator studio in Saarbrücken, where photo and video recordings are made. Of course, our products are also used here. Starting with lighting equipment, through microphones to field monitors.
Which camera gear do I use?
I am using Sony cameras for more than 10 years and lately I started to work with them together as well. I use the Sony alpha 1 and Sony alpha IV. Lenses for portraits I usually see myself more using prime lenses like: 35mm 1.4, 50mm, 1.4 85mm, and 135mm 1.8. For wildlife I start from 70-200mm up to 600mm paired with 1,4TC.
Then of course everything needs to be stored well where the ThinkTank logistic series finds it purpose. When it comes to editing, I work with the MacBook Pro 16” max which easily can even handle the a1´s 8K footage. The monitor I use is from ViewSonic and with 38” and widescreen there is plenty of space for editing!
